The painting has abstract design with a very attractive purple and blue color palette executed in oil on wood panel, signed in the lower right Halsey. The piece is titled Cartouche and labeled as Oil and signed Wm. Halsey June 1992 on the reverse with an original gallery label from Sound Shore Gallery. Halsey is one of those artists with significant upward potential as he was one of the leaders of the Southern Abstract movement and painted in the lovely city of Charleston. From the Estate of Dan and Mary Udell.

Condition: Painting is in good overall condition. Slight lifting of the painted panel from the wood framing in the upper left hand corner, no damage to the piece itself from this lifting.
