The Rhine Falls (German: Rheinfall) is the most powerful waterfall in Europe. The falls are located on the High Rhine in northern Switzerland.
There are many legends and myths about the Rhine Falls.
The irrepressible power of the increasingly precious element water is shown here by Bernhard Lang photographed from the helicopter in the thundering, falling masses of water, that create abstract, unique and irretrievable structures and shapes.


Since 2010, Bernhard Lang has captured the earth's surface in his photo series "Aerial Views". To take these pictures from the heavens, Lang takes off in helicopters and small aircrafts.
