Glazed in a bold bright matte yellow, this set of vintage ceramic planters are a gorgeous example of mid-century modern pottery. This is a set of two jardinares by Haeger. Each planter is round and features a raised round circular pattern around the lower body of each piece. Each are glazed both inside as well as outside in the same matte hue. We think they resemble octopus tentacles. The bottoms are marked:
Haeger
U.S.A.
167
This particular shade of yellow is quite unique for Haeger as we normally see them in darker colors. They would be a great way to add color to any space. We like the idea of planting geraniums or a plant with large green leaves.
