Features include a walnut hardwood construction finished in an ebony black lacquer that accentuates the natural walnut graining. There is a removal top that features decorative charred metallic mercury inlaid covered in clear acrylic approximately 1/4" thick. The metallic mercury inlaid material creates a "moondust" design which gives the box it's name and, given the nature of the natural materials embedded in the top, each box is unique and one-of-a-kind. The interior of the box is also finished in the same ebony black lacquer. Truly a unique piece to store your valuables in and/or keep sakes.
