Antique Pair of English Maritime Colored Etchings, 1806.
English hand colored etchings of a 90 Gun Ship at Spithead and a Collier with a view of the South Foreland. The etchings were published in 1806 by Edward Orme, 59 Bond Street, London. Titles are across the foot in English and in French with a cartouche in the center. These ship portraits are of the great naval subjects and a great example of period British Royal Naval history. The etchings are housed in period water gilded lemon gold frames. Very good antique condition.
