This is a gorgeous set of five vintage wooden Duncan Phyfe Regency style dining chairs. One is slightly larger, meant to be the head chair. Wood appears to be mahogany.
This design is derived from the "klismos", an ancient Greek chair form. Features beautiful saber legs, seat rail, and carved back splat. Solid and sturdy, with only minor cosmetic imperfections consistent with age. Minor cosmetic imperfections consistent with age.
