19th Century Italian pair of Empire commodinis or side tables made of beautifully burled mahogany veneer. A bookmatched veneer decorates each top and is supported by a frieze consealing one drawer. The case holds a pair of inset drawers having brass knob hardware and is set behind a pair of decorative columns that connect the top to the platform stretcher base. Mirrored backs complete the classic Empire style.
The tables measure 31.75" tall x 13" deep x 19.63" wide.
