Calming and Scenic Traditional Japanese landscape on gold-dyed silk of two autumn quails situated in the middle of vegetation amongst chrysanthemums and plum blossoms with beautiful bamboo in the distance; a symbol of well being, constancy, endurance, and longevity. This hand-painted 4-panel screen is serene and captivating, as it changes colors depending on what direction you view the screen from and with the different lights of the day. The soft gold silk backdrop is textured and is framed by a silk brocade trim. The outer wooden black lacquer trim has metal embellishments in a dark oil rubbed bronze with floral detailing and tiny nail heads. Artist signature is displayed in lower right corner L Hai.
