A 19th century display case or two-door library from circa 1850-1980 in the French Louis XVI style with elements of Napoleon III's Empire style
- Made of solid mahogany and veneered with natural mahogany veneer.
- All hand built and finished with stunning brass bronze moldings and gold accents. brass surrounded by brass tips.
- The windows also feature original blown glass that ripples in the light and is visible through the waves and occasional tiny bubbles.
- There are columns on both sides of this display case with brass ring at the top, bottom and center and inlaid grooves
- Supported by tapered, round legs with brown toes
- Working strip lock, sliding mechanism, functional, opens and closes perfectly after gently pressing the door, original key included.
- Interior made of solid mahogany with four adjustable shelves, the edges of which are decorated with a semi-circular brass rod. All 2 cm thick provide an equal depth of 29 cm.
- This chic and elegant cabinet is characterized by excellent workmanship and craftsmanship at the highest level.

In the case of doors with glass and columns, you have to be very careful because you have to assemble them at the very end, without completely unscrewing the screws from the top of the roof and inserting them at the same time.
This beautiful antique piece of furniture retains its original finish, with the exception of the lower left, gold side strip and two short, 5 cm strips above and below the columns, which are not visible even at close range. Original condition, minor scratches and dents, traces of wood eaters on the legs and above the upper columns. The whole thing was cleaned of dust and dirt and protected again with hard oil. Ready to be placed directly at home.
