Circa 1950s 'Abaca' salad set by Grainville of California, each piece made from hand-loomed fiber, molded in plastic. The raffia / plastic pieces (discounting the tongs) count nine in total: four asymmetrical snack bowls, four 'eye-shaped' snack bowls, and one large salad serving bowl. The teak tongs (1960s Denmark) will be included with the set. Their unique shape and rich teak color correspond well with the lightness of the raffia and the interesting shapes of the bowls. Including the tongs, the set includes eleven pieces. Several of the bowls retain the Abaca Grainville stickers, as pictured.
Nice, vintage condition with only minor wear; no flaws to note.
