This is an original 1968 watercolor depicting a classic Maine harbor scene: a small boat in still water, weathered dock pilings, and a stilted working shack with lobster buoys — pure New England character. Signed and titled in the artist’s hand: “Schepens-Kraus — Kennebunkport, Maine — 1968.”

In very good vintage condition with normal patina for a 1960s watercolor. For its age, this presents beautifully.

• Mat and frame are older and show light wear — I’d consider them part of the charm, but you could re-mat for a brighter, more contemporary look if desired
