I stripped 4 layers of … Read more This sweet find is a fine 1959 early H-base in translucent parchment fiberglass side chair. I stripped 4 layers of paint off it which sucked and there are still a few small areas where the yellow residue shows but if it bothers you, keep going. The labels were even under paint and cleaned off. No chips or cracks in the fiberglass and it’s generally well preserved. The legs are a little off kilter so it does not sit flat but flattens out when sitting on it.

Black metal finished legs with H base and white glides, translucent parchment which shows as a pale yellow. Retails original patent label which is stamped 1959. This is a great piece if you’d like an early example of this chair. See less
