A large Spanish Colonial style hand carved and painted wood santo altar figure, antique religious folk art sculpture, North America, likely Southwestern United States (New Mexico / Southern California) or Northern Mexico, early 20th century, depicting San Miguel Arcangel (Saint Michael the Archangel), scarce complete example, retaining the original wooden wings, sword and balance scale, rising on plinth base.
