A most impressive pair of antique Italian Neo-classical style parcel gilt and faux marble painted wood pedestal cabinet sellettes (sculpture stand / plant stand) with nicely aged distressed patina.
Born in Italy in the 19th century, high-quality solid wooden construction, exceptionally executed verde green marbleized finish, having a tall square column case with single cupboard door, opening to reveal shelved interior, the door panel decorated with central serpentine wrapped torch motif, rising on stepped base.
