Antique black patina finish with bronze accents. The idea for this lamp came to me during a recent trip to San Francisco. I had the pleasure of visiting the de Young Museum and its collection of Californian arts and crafts. In particular the very inspiring works of Dick Van Erp in copper and mica. This cute little lamp has resolutely contemporary lines although it does have a strong vintage feel.
Too often do we forget of the richness of American arts and crafts and its local regional variations. It is nothing more than the American cultural "terroir" that I seek to underline with this design. This lamp was designed and fabricated by Oblik studio design in Brooklyn New York. All designs are created under the technical and creative direction of Douglas Werner-Arai. less
