This unusual tribal format piece shows a bitonal vertical stripe or "cane" pattern overlaid with a pole medallion of three similar red lozenges, with knob finials. Diagonal color banded triangular corners. Multiple narrow borders with reversing fan palmettes, triangles and little florets. All wool construction, soft tribal wool, medium weave. Good condition.
