This gorgeous plate features masses of hand painted, raised relief daffodils in pale yellow, white and blue against a deep cobalt background. Printed Maling mark, painted pattern number (6349), and impressed date (November 1946) clearly visible on back.

Maling pottery was produced in the north east of England for a little over two centuries. The pottery was founded at North Hylton near Sunderland in 1762. The pottery closed in 1963. This decorative plate is wonderful piece of English history and is ready for immediate display! less
