This is a vintage 1980s 'moving sands' framed kinetic art.
It is a Painted glass scene of a desert palm and man with camels appearing in front of seven different sand layers sandwiched between plates of glass. The entire piece is framed in a lovely rick, dark brown wooden frame with gold tone metal border accent. The back is professionally taped to keep the art piece together.
A label on the back says 'Memories Unperished' and states it was handmade in the UAE (United Arab Emirates).
The frame has a small dent due in the gold metal border but the surface and finish are not damaged and otherwise in practically new condition.
