A rare find even in France, a 19c Louis XVI style portemanteau or vestier coat rack in bleached natural walnut and caned panels. 1 faux slate wood shelf over 1 drawer, 2 umbrella racks, brass and bronze coat hooks and bronze pull. Single caned shelf on top for hats. We stripped the gloss paint that some enterprising person in Avignon applied back to natural light walnut, a champagney beige hue that we hope for when bleaching.
An easy way to add beauty and practicality to a plain foyer or entrance. Any asymmetry seen in photos is from an angled camera lens.
