This "Magna Spot" lamp model with an amazing design of modernity is a production of the firm "The Modern Lighting Compagny". Production of the 60s, it consists of an openwork sphere in chromed metal, and a magnetic support. The light sphere is mobile, independent of the base. It can be won out of the base and therefore lends itself to many utility and decorative light combinations. The whole is carried by a demanding manufacturing, a neat design and inspired Space Age.
The Boule or Eye Ball office lamp is adjustable, modular. Electrification is original. Light traces of time are visible. The manufacturer's "Magna Spot" label "The Modern Lighting Compagny" is still present on the magnetic base.
10-14cm in lampshade diameter and 14-18cm high. 15cm in diameter and 3.5cm high for the base. This piece has an attribution mark,
