This would make for a great collectors piece for any home and is offered in perfect condition. The surface of the tankard features some beautiful relief work featuring cherubs, fruits and other creatures. I only hope the photos go some way in illustrating the beauty of the piece. At varius points there are nymphs and maidens in an Eden like setting with fruits and grapes. The retractable lid is surmounted by a cute cherub figure with a banjo resting by his side. It really is a great piece. We were lucky enough to buy this in London's Camden Passage from a dealer we regularly visit.
