These stands are two of the finest which we have been able to offer since demand for mid-century modern furniture began to surge all throughout the country. Quite often the large pieces of furniture such as mid-century dressers, dining tables, and hutches are easier to purchase as they are difficult to move and store for an extended period of time. Smaller premium items, such as pairs of nightstands, almost never become available because just about anyone can physically move and store them in any room of the home, including as end tables. Demand for quality mid-century modern nightstands remains incredibly high as nearly every collector of fine modern furniture desire to own a pair and very few professional dealers are able to routinely offer pairs to satisfy national demand. We consider ourselves quite fortunate to have found the pair of nightstands we now presently offer.

These stands were constructed by the Crescent Furniture Company of Warren, PA. Crescent was one of Pennsylvania's finest producers of quality furniture throughout the 20th century. These stands are constructed with a premium grade of walnut in addition to varying modern substrates commonly found on furniture from the mid-century era. Each side features three individual cuts of walnut running vertically which provide contrast to each other and produce a charming effect particularly when exposed to sunlight. The drawers work easily and are well built with plenty of depth for storage. Each of the stands are raised on four cylindrically tapered legs. The original manufacturing labels from Crescent Furniture are still affixed to the backside of the nightstands. They measure 19" wide x 14 1/4" deep x 23" tall. See less
