Once utilized by staff members to discreetly look at guests during a meal, this pair of late 19th century mercury glass "butler's balls" or "gazing balls" are stunning decorative objects.
Their reflective surfaces and orbed shape add a gorgeous addition to any tabletop or mantle while giving a lovely nod to antiquity.
This pair is solid mercury glass and in overall good antique condition with some imperfections to the glass (as noted in detailed pictures).
