The lid is decorated with a rabbit and a game bird. The sides are decorated with a basket weave with leaves and acorns. The inside is also colorfully glazed. There is one small chip in the side which can be turned to the back side if used for a display piece. Very heavy, almost 8 pounds. The bottom has a small maker mark embossed in the piece, but am unclear of the source. See less
