A pair of antique Ming Dynasty style stools or side tables. Each features lacquered wood construction with traditional hand-painted, incised motifs. Shaped apron with lotus tendrils and swelling supports add interest. While there is some distress to the red and black finish, we rather like the honest age and mellow patina. Sturdy and perfect as accent tables, plant stands, etc. Increasingly scarce to find a pair.
