An extremely comfortable pernilla lounge chair by swedish designer bruno mathsson was made by dux in sweden in the 1960s. … more An extremely comfortable pernilla lounge chair by swedish designer bruno mathsson was made by dux in sweden in the 1960s. It is an improved version of pernilla’s original version, designed in 1944. The chair features a minimalistic and organic design with an ergonimic, curved seat and backrest. It is made of bent beech plywood (back in the 40s, it was a progressive project!) canvas and new wool color upholstery woven in red and orange delicate pepito pattern similar to the original.

thanks to its vibrant, eye-catching colors and shape, this piece can successfully serve as the focal point of the room, hard to resist not to look at or rest in! it is truly one of the most comfortable lounge chairs of the 20th century, perfectly shaped to the human body. In short - overwhelming comfort and style!

the wood, canvas, and all the leather parts are in their original condition. The upholstery was redone according to the original one. We leave minor, natural signs of use that do not spoil the aesthetic and only confirm it is originality. We bring it back to its best look, considering it is 60 years old!
