A pair of rare antique Japanese bronze vases from the Meiji period, decorated with enamel using the cloisonne technique. Two matched globular vases with a relief pattern of cloisonne enamel, making up a set. The entire surface of each vase is decorated with a complex floral pattern of red, blue and green colors on a black background. Unmarked. Meiji era, 1868 to 1912, reign of Emperor Mutsuhito.
