It comes with it's original, hand made, solid wood carrying case. The base of the case allows for the microscope to slide securely in and the interior of the door has spaces where you can put accessories for the scientific marvel. The microscope itself is authentic and marked on in a few different spots to note: "Bausch & Lomb Optical Co. , Rochester NY USA, Divisible 16mm 0.25 10x, Pat. Oct. 13 1925". It's body is made of black colored metal and silver chrome metal.
