Constructed of multiple thick, rough wooden planks held together with cross and center bracing, primitive nails and spikes. Some restoration with bracing and paint as expected with an architectural element of this age. Hung on the wall, with this patina, design, and layering of color this is a wonderful work of abstract expressionist art, that at one time was functional, created hundreds of years ago, and updated over time. A statement piece in the proper setting.
