A superb 18th century Georgian Mahogany Pembroke Table with Satinwood banding and detailing along the square tapered legs. There is one functioning, dovetailed drawer and one faux drawer on the reverse side, both with original brass drawer pulls. The table stands on original, functioning brass casters. The drop leaf sides are held up by two wooden-hinged supports on each side, as pictured. The grain of the mahogany throughout is spectacular; this particular Georgian Pembroke Table is a particularly fine example of the craftsmanship of the period, dating to circa 1790.
The table measures 31"L x 20.25"W Closed (40" open) x 28.5"H.
