The natural wood grain is visible throughout the entire design of the table and base. The thick solid pedestal base terminates to the 4 solid legs. The table comes in 2 parts; the round top and the base. It has a glass top included, not shown here, that shows some scratches from years of use but it protected the table top which is in perfect mint shiny condition. This is a gorgeous large solid table which comfortably seats 6 to 8 people and up to 10 people depending on the size of the chairs. See all images showing some wear on the base.
