The characteristic orange-red field displays hooked ecru pole medallion of five dark blue and red joined hexagons, with split triangular fillers and lateral columns of small hooked "tarantula" lozenges. Also diagnostic is the ecru border with stars alternating with radiating serrated leaves. All wool construction, symmetric knots, woven on a ground loom. Lush tribal wool. Good condition, with slightest partial end reduction. See less
