Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this super rare and highly collectable, fully restored Boeckh Brothers LTD circa 1910-1920 metamorphic bakers shelf bookcase into a dining table. This is the finest example of this bookcase available for sale anywhere in the world, if you are looking for a museum quality example then look no further, this piece has been fully restored to include having the timber washed back, its then been traditionally French polished to bring the colour out, the original label is still residing as pictured, to the base of one of the planks of timber The metal frame retains all the period patina and has been waxed and polished, this is SUBLIME! It functions as it should, it doesn't sit perfectly flat like a normal dining table would as its made up of to many parts but it does the job nicely Dimensions Height:- 140cm Width:- 90.5cm Depth:- 66cm Extended Height:- 78.5cm Extended Width:- 155.5cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point, if you would like any additional or specific measurements please ask. Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the around condition Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade. official proof of authenticity,
