It was made using the Sommerso technique, which is the process of consecutively encasing glass layers in one another, which creates a beautiful and luminous coloring effect.

This vase was designed around 1970 and comes in a striking cobalt blue color. This piece is also one of the larger ones crafted in this style, measuring just under 13-inches in height. (12.75-inches, to be exact.) It also is in fantastic vintage condition, having no cracks, chips, or any other kind of cosmetic damage.
