Crafted in France circa 1860 and built of solid oak, the cabinet showcases exceptional craftsmanship with richly carved detailing throughout. The two front doors are adorned with large hand-carved medallions featuring scrolling acanthus leaves and central domed bosses, flanked by bold barley twist columns. The thick molded top is edged with a carved border and features intricate parquetry inlay, adding refined texture and depth. The interior reveals two wide compartments divided by a central support and fitted with three long shelves, providing ample space for storing dishes, glassware, linens, or collectibles. In excellent condition commensurate with age and use, the buffet boasts a warm and rich walnut-toned patina.
