The scenes of the nature that appear to float within the three-dimensionally sculpted and carved openwork dividers are characteristic to the Osaka transom tradition.
Hand-made entirely of natural cedar wood and signed/stamped by the actual artisan, the pine trees, village, bridge and mountains appear in the carved scenery seemingly come to life with beauty.
This ranma/panel/divider is a true work of art.

Condition: very good. Just some slight tome patina which makes it more appealing.
