A graceful solid wood Edwardian piano stool with a hinged lid that opens to reveal sheet music storage space. Curved side arm supports lead into beautifully shaped cabriole legs ending in spade feet. The side arms are delicately turned and have a wonderful patina from years of use. Lid hinges are discreet and the lid is protected with a support bracket. Most likely made of walnut in England, the underside of the stool is stamped with the letters X.
The wood has been cleaned and conditioned. The interior dimensions of the sheet music storage space are 11.5" x 17".
