A gorgeous and chic set of six (6) Italian Piero Fornasetti cocktail drinks coasters 'Cavalieri', Classical Roman Medieval style, circa mid-20th century, 1960s, Italy. A set of six in black and white edged in gold, each with a different motif of beautiful horse and man with elaborate style. Coasters, essential for protecting furniture tops, are designed to support a wine glass as shown in images; in addition, they are great for holding olives or nuts too, etc. Set could also be used as wall art. Fornasetti is collectable Italian design. All pieces are marked on underside as shown in last two images; 'Fornasetti Milano', 'Made in Italy''. Set is in very good condition as shown. No chip noted.
