Yiannis Nomikos (Greek/American 1949) very rare and fine example of his 1970's erotica art. This is a larger one showing a detailed hand painted homoerotic mythological scene in gesso and tempera on ostrich egg. Signed Exekias (after the ancient Greek painter and potter, these paintings are play off his designs) and dated 1976 at rim. Measures 6" x 5". Excellent condition, no chips, cracks, or repairs, the painting itself is bold and very fine.
