The colors of this Tashiro Shoten hand painted vase would enliven any space. Colors include blue, yellow, red, green, pink, blue and white with flower and leaf motif in the Asian Modern style. There are modern lines to this japanese vase that delineate vertical bands of color in yellow, blue, and white. The upper lip is glazed with a beautiful salmon shiny glaze that stands out nicely. Great as standalone piece or with flowers on a coffee table, credenza, shelf, vanity, dresser or desk. On reverse the stamp is marked "Hand Painted" and "Made in Japan". Elephant hallmark in the center of the red stamp on bottom. Marked with an elephant indicates it was made prior to 1954. Piece would make a nice gift.
