The man is very well painted and may have been a study for a larger piece, it is executed in oil paint on cardboard panel. The style is of the 17th or 18th century but we believe it to be done in the 19th century. The painting is signed in the lower right hand corner illegibly.

Condition: Good antique condition with some wear and flaking to the paint around the edge of the cardboard panel.
