This original graphic art lithographic poster entitled "Chez Panisse Restaurant and Cafe" was created by David Lance Goines in 1989 in his Berkeley studio. It depicts a bouquet of flowers in a vase. The poster was created to celebrate the 18th anniversary of the opening of the famous Berkeley gourmet restaurant by its iconic founder Alice Waters. Goines' name and 1989, the year of the poster's creation, are printed to the left of the vase.
The poster was printed in 13 colors in an edition of 1795, of which 300 copies are signed.
This original limited edition poster measures 24" high x 17" wide. There are subtle creases in the upper portion if the poster, but it is otherwise in excellent condition.
