This early 19th century hand-colored stipple engraving by William Hooker entitled "The Red Doyenne Pear" was plate 14 published in London in the 'Transactions of the Horticultural Society of London' in 1810. It depicts a red Doyenne pear on a tree branch, surrounded by leaves.
There are scattered spots. The print is otherwise in very good condition.
