Antique American Primitive 1840s Wooden Black Rocking Bench w Wooden Plank Seat and Gate
An American Primitives Antique 1840s rocking Mammy or Nanny bench with a wooden plank seat and gate. Poplar and maple wood. 1.50 inch thick single plank seat. Turned back spindles. Removable baby gate. All original parts with nothing broken. Very solid. Old repaint of black over the original paint. 29 inches tall at the back by 60 inches wide by 30 inches wall out at the rockers. Seat is 15 inches tall by 56 inches wide between the arms.
