This is part of Chairish’s Costume Jewelry assortment.
A fine early Victorian period pinchbeck bracelet set with graduating garnet paste links. Pinchbeck is a form brass with copper and zinc alloy resembling gold. The oval garnet paste graduates in size and has a rope twist bezel. The alternating links are pillow scrolls with polished crescent ends. They are decorated with bright cut engraving. The bracelet is in very good condition and has a safety chain. There are no hallmarks or maker's marks. It dates c. 1840.
