From my personal collection, a beautifully executed mid-20th century impressionist oil painting on art board by listed artist Alfred F. Gerstmayr (American, 1893-1968). This is rare opportunity to own a maritime work of this quality by an artist of Alfred’s caliber. Serene, beautiful, and understated in its magnificence as a masterful work of art. Alfred’s works rarely come on the market and this one has been in my collection for the past 25 years and I have greatly enjoyed the peacefulness and beauty of this magnificent oil painting. Painted on hard canvass board (art board).
Most likely dating from the 1950s-60s.
