The exterior of the plate is adorned with a polychrome image of ducks flying over a pond with blossoming flowers and plants on a turquoise ground made in the Cloisonne technique. The border features traditional foliage, floral, and scrollwork motifs. The backside is decorated with a swirl ornament, and an image of a flower made in the Cloisonne technique. Unmarked. Circa: 1890
