Author Jacques Norvins published one of the most comprehensive and influential histories on the life and military career of Napoleon, trought the works of the most important engravers of the time. 22x14cm. Good conditions except for some yellow halos on the margins. The Siege of Toulon in 1793 might have merged with the many other actions of the French Revolutionary War were it not for one man's subsequent career, as the siege marked the first notable military action by Napoleon Bonaparte, later Emperor of France and one of the greatest generals in history. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
