The artwork represents a horse and his satirical rider with an eagle opened-winged in his hand. The artwork is depicted skillfully through confident strokes and characterized by a well-defined choice of shapes in a brilliant composition. Mastery of the artist is demonstrated by the creation of realistic style and at the same time subjective conceptual artwork. Hand-signed in pencil and dated on the lower right. Titled on the lower left in italian Monumento, serigraph and numbered, 26/50. 62x40 cm. Good conditions. Leo Guida was sensitive to current issues, artistic movements and historical techniques. He has been able to weave a productive interview on art and the function of the artist with many generations of young people during his activity. He was a teacher at the Liceo Artistico di Latina from 1969 to 1985, and he trained many of the artists who today characterize the Italian cultural landscape. Copious was his production of graphic works in which Guida showed all his talent for the techniques of chalcography, etching, aquatint and burin etc. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
