For your consideration we are presenting for sale this fantastic Vintage impressionist abstract still life oil on canvas painting by listed artist Theodore Van Oorschot. Titled " FLOWERS " C,1960's.
Stunning Impressionist style oil on stretcher canvas depicting still life scene of flowers in a vase and
bowl of fruit next to it. Well executed impressionist style painting shows great movement and wonderful vibrant colors with heavy oil impasto palate technique. Painting signed at lower right, also on the back. Much sought-after artist- Painting shows artist skilled technique. Unframed.

Theodore Van Oorschot 1910-1989 Dutch.
The artist lived and worked in Schijnde,​ Netherlands. A student of the Academy of Visual Arts in Tilburg and Antoon van Domburg, Charles Baker, and Nico Molenkamp. Paints in the style of The Hague School, impressionistic, coloristic. Topics are mostly Brabant landscapes, interiors, still life, and flowers, have several imitators who try to imitate his smooth style of painting. Working in various museums include Museum Kempenland Eindhoven. Literature: Pieter Scheen, PMJJacobs, "Dorus van Oorschot 'Museum Kempenland Eindhoven in 1990.
Until 1972 he lived in a house built studio at the Doctor Poelestraat, near the center of Schijndel. He then moved to the Venus area just west of Schijndel. His old studio there, on a farm, has since 1 May 1997 as a museum: the Atelier van Oorschot. The last opening was December 21, 2008. At the corner of the Schootsestraat and Venus Angle is a statue of the artist with easel and painting.
The collection of Dorus van Oorschot, consisting of 160 paintings got a new place in the Museum Jan Heestershuis also Schijndel. See less
